Kitchens in London
Full kitchen refits, from strip-out and services to worktops and tiling.
A new kitchen is part design and part building work. We take care of the building side: stripping out, moving pipes and sockets, plastering, fitting units and worktops, tiling, flooring and decorating.
How a kitchen refit runs
- Survey: we measure up and check the walls, floor, plumbing and electrics.
- Layout: agree where everything goes, including sockets, lighting and appliances.
- Strip-out and first fix: remove the old kitchen and run new pipes and cables.
- Plaster and floor: make walls and floors true before units go in.
- Fit: units, worktops, sink, taps, appliances, splashbacks and lighting.
- Finish: tiling, decorating and a final clean.
Kitchen and bathroom work doesn't usually need planning permission, though new electrics and drainage may need to meet building regulations. The Planning Portal explains when.
